Anna
As one of the co-founders, Anna was part of the team who headed out to Uganda to set-up the first project in 2008 and now operates as Trustee and Director of Projects. She has completed a number of follow-up visits to Uganda over the last ten years, and regularly speaks and advises the Ugandan team on project delivery, day-to-day finances and ideas for moving the charity forwards.
Anna is a Chartered Physiotherapist (MSc), with a previous degree in Anatomical Sciences (BSc Hons). She has over ten years of physiotherapy experience in the NHS in and around London. Anna completed previous voluntary work in Uganda in 2005, and used her physiotherapy experience while in Uganda to support young people with severe disabilities.
She has been involved in a number of fundraising events for Uganda Creates, completing the Lands End to John O'Groats bike ride, 3-Peaks Challenge; and running the Loch Ness Marathon.
