We deliver recreational, educational and training programmes for young people from disadvantaged communities in Uganda
We are invited into a community and establish a Resource Centre, providing local residents with access to recreational activities, and a platform to bring the community together
For engaged community members who have shown commitment, we then are able to support them with vocational training, providing one-two years funding for a vocational scholarship of their choice
The impact we are having
We provide a range of different recreational, educational and training opportunities to over 10,000 users every year
How you can support us
There are many ways you can support us, from setting up a monthly donation to offering your professional services

how we work
Empowering communities to create their own change.
Uganda Creates is committed to building capacity in our local team and ensuring the majority of our resources are spent and consumed in Uganda rather than in the UK.
Our New Project for 2018: Bwaziba
In 2018, we are pleased to have opened our fourth project site in Bwaziba in the Luwero District. We have had huge support from the community during the set up phase and we think the newly opened Resource Centre is going to be a huge success. We will report back on the successes and challenges we experience throughout the year.
The Unplanned Adventures of Henri the Hippo.
Uganda Creates is proud to launch its very own commissioned children's story (for children aged 3+). The production costs of the book have been covered, meaning that all the proceeds from the sales (minus the cost of printing) go straight to Uganda Creates.
